My name is Devin Pitcher (he/him) and this is my humble little blog where I primarily write about three categories: technology, travel, and anything I can tinker with. However, I also write tutorials, reviews, and more.

As a software engineer / web developer, I spend most of my day looking at screens and writing code. I started web development at a very young age (blog post coming soon) and have been doing it ever since. In my spare time, I can usually be found working on side projects (like this blog), configuring smart home devices and tinkering with Home Assistant, doing various home improvement projects, or going out on my two and four-wheeled vehicles.

In September of 2023, I stopped using most social media. Instead of posting short-form content and hoping that some algorithm will allow people to see it, I decided I wanted to share long-form content and share it on my own platform. I also found that scrolling through a stream of posts and comments filled with hate and negativity was affecting my overall mood, and I decided it was time to part ways.
